Girls Who Code Is Working to Bridge the Gender Gap in Tech

In 1995, 37% of computer scientists were women. Today, it’s only 24%. In 10 years, the number of women in computing will decrease to just 22%—if nothing changes.

Fortunately, Girls Who Code is fighting to battle these odds and encourage girls to pursue careers in tech by teaching computer-science fundamentals through after-school clubs and summer programs.
